A Cut Above

Look what came in the mail today...a copy of Gerri Robinson's book, A Cut Above! Disclaimer: Gerri is a dear if distant friend, and frequent contributor to McCall's Quilting and McCall's Quick Quilts. But I'll try to be objective in my review, promise!

If you like sewing with precut fabric packs, you are going to love this book. Gerri's trademark traditional through feminine designs are achievable for quilters of all skill levels, and her use of fabric is wonderful...you can learn a lot just by browsing through the book, let alone trying the patterns. And as a bonus, there are several examples of framed patchwork and pillows and cushions, all beautifully made and displayed. Great photography!
